Privacy Policy

Time4Subs ("we," "us") provides Forward Command ("the App"), field-to-office reporting software for trade subcontractors. This policy explains what information the App collects, why we collect it, and the choices you have. The App is provided to workers through their employer or organization.

Information we collect

We collect the following, and each is used to provide and operate the App's features. All of it is linked to your identity (your account and organization):

Name — to identify you within your organization and on timesheets, reports, and job records.
Email address — for account login, authentication, and support communication.
Precise location — to calculate distance to job sites and verify on-site attendance. Location is accessed only while you are using the App (when-in-use) and only for these features.
Photos and videos — job-site photos, receipts, and report images you capture or attach within the App.
Audio data — voice recordings you create for hands-free time allocation, production tracking, and status updates.
User ID — an identifier that links your activity and records to your account and your organization.

How we use your information

We use the information above solely to provide app functionality, including:

Operating core features — time tracking, photo capture, daily production logging, and reporting.
Authenticating and securing your account.
Syncing your field data to your office in real time.
Responding to your support requests.

We do not use your information for tracking. We do not track you across apps or websites owned by other companies, we do not use your data for third-party advertising, and we do not sell your personal information.

Voice recordings and transcription

When you record a voice note, the audio is sent to a third-party transcription service to be processed into text. The resulting text is used to populate your time allocations, production entries, and status updates within the App. The transcription provider processes the audio only to perform this service for us.

Service providers

We use trusted infrastructure and service providers to host data, store files, and process voice recordings on our behalf. These providers may process your information only to provide services to us and are bound by obligations to protect it. They are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

Data storage and security

Your information is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and stored on secured infrastructure. We apply reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Data retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the App, and thereafter as required to meet legal, accounting, or reporting obligations.

Your choices and rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing support@time4subs.com. Because accounts are provisioned by your employer or organization, some requests may be coordinated with them. You can control location, microphone, camera, and photo permissions at any time in your device settings.

Children's privacy

The App is intended for use by workers in a business context and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
